Each porcelain mug is handcrafted combining Industrial Design to make a “New Modern” style of functional porcelain in daily life.
Wilcoxson Brooklyn Ceramics is a Brooklyn-based studio that recycles their clay scraps, so there is recycled content in every product. The process is known as slaking. In their design studio, the porcelain clay is made from scratch. Each piece is crafted, fired and glazed individually, with no two identical pieces. Each piece is fired in the kiln to 2250ºF resulting in translucent, food safe and dishwasher safe porcelain tableware.
