Here we are on the eve of our 10-day journey of self-healing together. The Cleanse aims to bring you into a healthier relationship not just with food, but with your relationship to food.
Before you start, it is important to read through the The Cleanse book to best understand how we created the program, and more importantly, why.
Truth be told, I have never been one to willingly spend my time cooking. So when we were deciding who to partner with to help design the recipes, we chose Chef Mikaela for her unique ability to create recipes that are simple yet tasty, and enjoyable to cook. At beginning of each day’s plan, you’ll see a suggested menu. Take a peek at those meal plans the day before so you have a sense for what you’d like to prep.
With that in mind, remember that the suggested menus are just that: suggestions. Feel free to get creative, choose from any recipe, make a double batch to reduce your time in the kitchen if you'd like. Cut the recipe in half if you are cooking for just yourself and would like to reduce food waste. This is for you – for your life – for the lifestyle you’d like to create. You are in the driver's seat for these next 10 days. Find the joy and empowerment in taking control of the day, while letting go of the mindset that all the decisions need to be exact or perfect.
We invite you to include a movement routine to help you maximize your detoxification. To help support the fluctuating energy levels and emotions that you may experience each day of The Cleanse, we have created a daily movement sequence to guide you through. These daily sequences are led by Class Teacher, Certified Holistic Nutritionist, and Health Coach Raj Barker. They are designed to elevate and round out your journey. Just as you did today, you'll receive an email every day for the next 10 days. In each email you will receive a specially crafted movement sequence for you to enjoy at your leisure the following day. If you already are a digital subscriber, feel free to access this movement series directly on The Digital Studio. You'll find the movement for Day 1 in Day 1's message, the movement for Day 2 in Day 2's message, and so on.
